History
Developmental Behavioral Consultants (DBC) has been operating therapeutic group homes since 1989 primarily for the developmentally disabled and mentally retarded population. It added outpatient services in 1998. Our homes and apartments are located throughout the Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Chandler areas of Arizona.
DBC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Youth and Family Centered Services, Inc.
Mission Statement
To provide community residential treatment programs for individuals with behavioral, mental, and developmental disorders.
To provide successful habilitation and rehabilitation through pervasive treatment that enhances, to the greatest degree possible, the resident's quality of life.
To provide community homes reflecting values of normalization, individualization, developmental perspective, and dignity.
To provide a treatment program structure utilizing a functional analysis behavior management format that facilitates the development of a therapeutic relationship between staff and residents in which trust, respect, and independence are paramount. .
Populations Served
DBC specializes in providing services to children, adolescents, and adults who are developmentally disabled and mentally ill.

Therapeutic Group homes, home-based and outpatient services.
Accreditation
- Licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Division of Developmental Disabilities.
